Mr. Afzal Delbar is the Managing Director of Silver Line Services Ltd (www.silverlineservices.com) which is an International Freight Forwarding Company. It has offices in 23 Countries that offers one stop-shop services in the Logistics Supply chain.
He is a licensed Customs House Broker and is the actual President of the Customs House Brokers Association (CHBA) - (www.customshousebrokers.com)
He is also the Secretary General of the Freeport Operators Association which is an Organization that regroups Freeport Licensees in view of enhancing the Freeport Sector and to make Mauritius a Trading Hub.www.freeportoperators.com
Mr. Delbar has been actively involved in regional and International Trade and participated fully in the implementation of the Trade Protocol in the areas of Rules of origin and trade facilitation.
With his twenty-two years’ experience in, Mr. Delbar is fully conversant in International trade practices and in view of sharing his knowledge with the Business Community, he founded Freight Academy Ltd, a pioneer Institute to offer training in the sector. (www.freightacademy.com).
